Description
The Tundra drone is a qualitative French design created by the company Hexadrone.
This modular drone has been designed to become the working tool of your company over time and whatever new needs you may have in the future. Its versatile and scalable platform allows to add all types of payloads to cover a maximum of applications.
Developed and tested in France, the Hexadrone Tundra drone can carry up to 4 kg of equipment and fly for nearly 60 minutes. It has multiple interfaces distributed around the body, allowing the addition of components of your choice.
This version includes the Urban arms and the HERELINK control radio. You will have to complete with a LiPo 6S Semi Solid State battery of 30 000mAh and a suitcase for the transport of the material.
An exemplary modularity
The Tundra was born from the fact that today, on the drone market, it is up to the user to adapt to his machine and not the other way around. To remedy this, Hexadrone began working on a standard platform, designed to meet the needs of operators and integrators. Indeed, it is composed of a single standard body to which different types of arms can be adapted according to the need. Standard interfaces allow to add various sensors or accessories, already existing on the market or to develop new ones. And beyond the selection of your model at the time of purchase, you can make your Tundra evolve as your company's needs change!
Here proposed in its "Urban" version, the Tundra drone can carry up to 4 kg of equipment. The motors are optimized to ensure a stable flight and high performance, even with a heavy payload. On the electronic side, it is based on a Cube Orange flight controller (CubePilot) flashed, set up and tested by Hexadrone before delivery. Hexadrone has chosen to work with recognized drone component partners. We find among others references T-Motor or Fischer Connectors, etc.. A version of arm "Urban" allows a lighter configuration, more in phase for the flight in S3.
The Tundra has been designed to be a robust platform, which adapts to the needs of professionals. Thus it is weather resistant with an IP44 rating. This carrier designed by Hexadrone offers a solid and common structure, ready to integrate the inventiveness of makers who have very specific needs.
Unique adaptability
The body of the Tundra offers different interfaces to integrate modules from the market (eg GPS, MT30, Lidar, PDB etc. ..) or to develop your own modules. As previously mentioned, the Tundra in its Endurance version can carry up to 4 kg of payload. The numerous interfaces and connectors located on the drone and on the four sides allow to connect the payload of your choice:
Gremsy pod (Mio, Pixy, S1V3,T3V3),
PhaseOne,
Thermal cameras (FLIR type),
LiDAR GreenValley,
Photogrammetry tools,
etc...
The Tundra can fly up to 60 minutes empty and 50 minutes with a 1.5 kg payload.
